The project consisted of a one-story, 24,000 s.f. addition atop the existing 4th floor patient wing. The erection of the structural steel, cladded with an insulated aluminum panels and windows, had to be closely coordinated with the hospital staff in order not to impact the operation of the facility.

A large section of the addition was erected directly over the outpatient entrance, which maintained its daily flow. The new floor provided an additional 27 post partum rooms to better serve the needs of the growing Community.
