Telephone: +44 020 7012 1234
Comment: The creators of baroque-kitsch fine dining restaurant Les Trois Garcons now bring us this beautifully eccentric lounge bar that’s already taken the London fashion set by storm. Just a short walk from Brick Lane, it’s packed with the same gorgeous curiosity shop type clutter as the restaurant, with long, rustic oak tables, flamboyant sofas, red drapes and much surreal artwork. |

In an effort to get away from its ’80s image, this famous women-only spa has had a makeover. The emphasis here is on relaxation, with spa pools, a steamroom and space for chilling. The reflexology (£49) is excellent. On the downside, you may be given a hard sell with the Sanctuary’s own products. |
